Admissions

Parent must meet with the Nursery Principal before the admission. The student needs to visit the nursery before starting. The child will be introduced to staff and children, be shown around the classroom.

House of Colours Nursery admits students only on stage basis. Admissions are taken for the following stages according to ADEK Calendar:

Stage 1: September to December
Stage 2: January to March
Stage 3: April to June

Students will be registered in eSIS according to their age group, 45 days to 1.11 years, 2-2.11 years (Pre FS1) or 3-4 years (FS1/pre-KG) classes.

Other matters which are taken into account in deciding which student can be offered a place in the nursery according to ADEK regulations are:

• Availability of space, taking into account the staff/student ratio, the age of the student and registration requirements and classroom capacity.
• Preference is given to those who have been on the waiting list for the longest time.
• Our ability to provide facilities for the welfare of the child.
• Student interaction in class upon the admission of that child for a period of 3 days.
• Most students start nursery in September; however registrations are welcome at any time during the year and enrolment takes place throughout the year subject to space availability.

We require you to submit the following documents to complete the registration process:

• Registration Form
• Medical Form
• Media Consent Form
• Copy of Child’s Birth Certificate
• Copy of Child’s Immunization Records
• Copy of Child’s Medical Insurance Card
• Copy of Child’s Emirates ID, Passport with Valid Visa
• Copy of Father’s Passport with Valid Visa
• Copy of Mother’s Passport with Valid Visa
• Copy of Mother’s Emirates ID
• Copy of Father’s Emirates ID
• 4 Copies of Passport-sized Photographs
